- Put someone else in charge of security: It’s easy to think that since you’re taking a trip, the hackers are going out to lunch too: But you’re going to need a designated security person (preferably a trusted, tech-savvy employee) to keep an eye on things while you’re away.
- Don’t let your employees pull a fast one: When the cat’s away, the mice will play—and some employees may think that once you’ve stepped out of the office, their work computer is fair game for personal browsing. Make sure to set up appropriate monitoring tools so nefarious websites can’t slip through the cracks.
- Take full advantage of remote solutions: With smartphones and laptops, let’s face it: You never really have to stay away from the office if you don’t want to. And with ACS, your employees are only as far away as you want them to be.
