Our knee-jerk reaction is to go with the cheapest option making hard drives a go to when you can get one terabyte of storage for under $100 and cloud storage being a monthly fee. While an external hard drive’s security is also safe, it isn’t the most reliable with a quarter of hard disk drives failing before the end of their warranty period.
