Not protecting your important info can be catastrophic. Identity theft protection should be key to your business. From ruining your credit to phishing scams, it’s important to know if you’re in danger. The question is, how?

Are you using an anti-malware software? This can mean the difference between you and a $631 dollar charge, the average cost of identity theft right now according to the Washington Post. If you’re unsure of what’s best for your computer, ACS can give you some suggestions!

Have you been using the same password for everything for the past few years? Time to change it up, and often!
Are your passwords easy to guess? Make sure to get a little complicated with those passwords, or better yet implement 2-facter authentication on all your accounts.
Are you entering your info onto websites without checking that they are secure? When you provide financial or other sensitive info online, make sure the address changes from “http” to “https” or “shttp” to ensure safety.
