I'm enjoying the Winter Haven Chamber of Commerce Podcast "It's Happenin' in the Haven"! I've never heard of a chamber doing a podcast, but I'm really enjoying it.
The Winter Haven Chamber has a very professionally produced podcast. If your new to the area, or just want to keep tabs on whats happening in the community, then I'd recommend you subscribe. I found the podcast on Spotify. It was easy to find, just search for Winter Haven Chamber and you'll find it.
In the episode I'm listening to I learned that State Farm, in the near past, had a rather large customer or call center here in Winter Haven. They closed it during the pandemic, or perhaps more accurately, they set it free to be remote. In the podcast they refer to this one time Winter Haven staple as "the farm." I love that!
